While at Maryland, he was a member of the 2022 Undefeated National Champions, serving as a team captain and playing a pivotal role in having a Top 5 Defense and igniting the #1 transition game in the country. Puglise was drafted in the first round of the PLL Draft, 7thoverall, to the Whipsnakes LC.

Puglise garnered numerous acknowledgements over his 5 year career at Maryland. He was voted a 3x team captain, the first in Maryland history. He was named the Maryland Student-Athlete of the Year, received the B1G Medal of Honor (highest award given out at a Big Ten institution), and was named a finalist for the prestigious Senior Class Award. Excelling both on and off the field, Puglise was named a 3x All-American, 2x All-B1G, 2x Academic All-American, and 4x Academic All-B1G.

In addition to academics and athletics, Puglise was and still remains heavily involved in the community. He has served as a club coach with Virginia Lacrosse Club and volunteered at a multitude of camps. With all that being said, Puglise says his greatest accomplishment has been his work with mental health. Helping to form the Maryland Student-Athletes Mentorship program, Puglise dove head first into working to end the stigma around college athletics. He continues to volunteer with numerous mental health organizations, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and 15 for Life, and speak openly about his story and the power of seeking help.

Coach Michael Mabry and Puglise started training together during Puglise’s sophomore year of high school and they have formed an unbreakable bond. Coach has served as a constant mentor, role model, and friend throughout Puglise’s career. They both always talked about and dreamed of working together to create more relationships like the one they have, and making a massive positive impact on individuals around them. Now with the two heads together, they are ready to embark on that dream, taking a holistic approach to enhancing the potential of both person and player to the highest form.
